How do I learn?
If you are an adult then our online courses are for you. Whether you're young or old, a complete beginner or just wanting to top up your skills we have something for you.

Our courses are computer-based, but don't let that bother you! You can learn at home, at work or anywhere where you can access the Internet.

Each course is broken down into small chunks of learning which means you don't have to sit in front of your computer for hours on end - you can do as much or as little as you want at any time. The choice is yours!

You can work through your course on most modern computers.

Your computer will need:
A modem or other form of Internet connection.
An up-to-date browser program, like Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Some of our online materials use audio to help you to learn. For these courses your computer will also need to have a soundcard installed.

What is e-learning?
E-learning is a way of learning that uses computers and the Internet, CD-ROM and video. Our courses are delivered online, so you will need access to a computer with an internet connection.

Is e-learning right for me?
Online courses are designed to enable you to learn at your own pace, at a time to suit your lifestyle and commitments. With these courses you can learn more or less when you want with the support of friendly tutors to help you along.

You don't have to attend a class at the same time every week or work through a whole course when you only want to learn a specific topic. You can learn in your own home; you can learn at work - you can learn anywhere where you have access to the internet. Your responsibility is to set time aside for your learning
